Actress and Carrie Fisher's mum passes away a day after daughter's death

Debbie Reynolds, actress and singer, has passed away at the age of 84. 

Reynolds who lost her daughter, Carrie Fisher, on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, l days after suffering a heart attack on a plane last week, suffered a stroke only a day after learning of the untimely death of her daughter.
"She's now with Carrie and we're all heartbroken," Reynolds' son, Todd Fisher, said.
According to a report by The Los Angeles Times,Reynolds was rushed to the hospital after she complained of breathing problems.

The actress made her acting debut in 1948, in the movie "June Bride." She however rose to fame at age 19, when she starred in the 1952 musical classic "Singin’ in the Rain."

Her other movie roles include "The Penguins of Madagascar," "The Singing Nun," "It Started with a Kiss," "The Tender Trap," "How the West Won" among others.
She is survived by her son Todd Fisher and her granddaughter, actress Billie Lourd.
