EFCC arraigns Ogunlewe, UNAAB VC, Bursar for alleged N409m fraud

The accused were alleged to have diverted a N409 million property of the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned the Pro-Chancellor of the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe,  the Vice Chancellor,  Prof. Olusola Oyewole and the Bursar, Moses Ilesanmi for alleged N409 million fraud.

The accused were said to have been in the EFCC custody since Wednesday, November 23.
They were arraigned before Ogun state High Court in Abeokuta for allegedly diverting a sum of N409 million property of the University.
The trio were slammed with an 18-count charge ranging from diversion of fund to illegal deposit among others.
They, however, pleaded non-guilty to all the charges brought against them.
