Fireworks were invented in ancient China in the 7th century to scare away evil spirits, as a natural extension of the Four Great Inventions of ancient China of gunpowder. Such important events and festivities as Chinese New Year and the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival were and still are times when fireworks are guaranteed sights. China is the largest manufacturer and exporter of fireworks in the world.
Fireworks are generally classified as to where they perform, either as a ground or aerial firework. In the latter case they may provide their own propulsion (skyrocket) or be shot into the air by a mortar (aerial shell).
Christmas in in the air,and so many people likes to play with fireworks. in as much as it is colourful and fun-filled but it is also dangerous to some extent.
last year Christmas so many people lost their lives from such explosion due to some little accident according to some local and international news,if you want to play with fireworks make sure you follow the safety guide and instructions so you don't cause damages that may lead to loss of lives and properties.
it is your life and you have to safe-guide it,firework is inflammable and flames can cause serious havoc.
In Nigeria names are given to such fire works such as banger and knockouts,disco light etc
