Magnus Abe accuses Governor Wike of inciting violence

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming  Rivers South East senatorial district rerun election, Senator Magnus Abe has accused Governor Nyesom Wike of inciting violence.

This is coming on rhe heels of Wike’s recent allegation that the APC has planned to arrest some PDP chieftains ahead of the December 10 election.
Abe also told Channels TV that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has done many favours for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers.
According to Daily Post, Abe said “Anyone who violates the Law will be arrested by the Police and there is nothing anybody can do about it.
“No Governor can give anybody immunity from arrest. If Wike wants to tell people to resist arrest let him tell his own brothers to go and commit a crime and resist arrest by the Police.
“Those who break the Law on election day will be arrested. Those who break the Law before election day will be arrested and those who commit electoral violence after election day will also be arrested.”
Meanwhile, INEC has appealed to stakeholders in Rivers to refrain from inciting or instigating violence ahead of the re-run elections.
