Amidst rumours that President Muhammadu Buhari had passed on during his 10-day vacation in the United Kingdom, another proof of life photo of Nigeria's leader has hit the internet.

Two online news platforms - "Metroand "Huffington Post" had released conflicting reports about president Buhari's alleged death.

While Metro's headline read: "Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari dies in London," Huffington Post said: "Nigeria president's security tightened as President attempts suicide".
Investigations however revealed that
 both news websites are fake.

Although the federal government promised to fish out and punish sources of the "subversive messages," most Nigerians were still not convinced that President Buhari is still alive as the news of the president death had spread to the nook and crannies of Nigeria.
Femi Adesina dismissed the rumour saying President Buhari was neither ill nor in a U.K hospital. Adesina said the President was hail and hearty.
Adesina's statement, however, could not quench the wildfire of President Buhari's alleged death.
To prove this point, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) demanded a proof of life video by President Buhari from the United Kingdom amid ill-health and death rumours.
On the evening of Friday, January 27, 2017, one Liberty Badmus shared another photo of President Buhari with the President, European Parliament, Martin Schulz and his aides in London.
"From my inbox, somebody asked what is the current state of PMB and I have this to share. President Buhari sits with the President of the European Parliament and his aides," Badmus wrote on Facebook.
With this photo, it only expected that Nigerians will await the successful return of President Buhari in a few days.
