A Reverend Father in one of the volatile northern states in the country has become an Internet sensation after he was pictured with a gun in the church.
A Reverend Father has become an Internet sensation after he was pictured going to the pulpit with a loaded machine gun tucked under his arm in the northern part of Nigeria.
The man of God, according to Achike Onwuazo who posted the picture on his Facebook page, did not want to be caught unawares by some rampaging insurgents and terrorists who have taken it as their past time to attack places of worship with reckless abandon.
And with the government not doing much to protect its citizens, it has now become imperative for people to devise means of providing protection for themselves.
This is what Onwuazo posted on his wall while giving his support to the Reverend gentleman:
“Carry Go my blessed Rev. Father. He who is surrounded by his enemies (Fulani herdsmen & Boko Haram) is always alert.”
